modify the stupid podman socket by editing its systemctl service

just do systemctl edit podman.socket and drop this in

ExecStartPost=/usr/bin/chown {YOUR USER}:{YOUR GROUP} /run/podman
ExecStartPost=/usr/bin/chmod 0750 /run/podman
